Mondays at 7pm | 🐾 The Canine Campus, Hume Begins Monday, 11th August | 5 x 1 hour classes | Limited spots available This beginner level course is ideally designed for dogs who have finished puppy preschool and are ready for the next step. It is also suitable for older puppies who might have missed preschool and want to get started with training! We focus on practical life skills, play-based learning, and clear communication to help your dog succeed at home, on walks, and in everyday life. You’ll learn why training works - not just what to do - with a mix of hands-on practice and easy-to-understand theory. What You’ll Learn ✔ Focus & Engagement - Keep your dog’s attention, even around distractions ✔ Leash Manners - Teach polite walking with less pulling ✔ Recall - Build a reliable come when called ✔ Impulse Control - Teach self-regulation ✔ Foundation Cues - “Down,” "Stay," “Middle,” and “Let’s Go” ✔ Reward Systems - Increase motivation using food, toys, and praise ✔ Play Skills - Learn how to use chase games for training and fulfilment ✔ Settle Skills - Teach your dog to relax when needed Course Includes: -Small group size for individual coaching and feedback -Resources to support your progress at home -Access to ongoing casual classes -Supportive environment that builds confidence and connection -Focus on social responsibility and real-life readiness Important Info: - This class is not suitable for dogs with aggression issues or severe reactivity. - Missed classes are non-refundable.
