Play School Pups is a dynamic 30- 45 minute puppy class filled with engaging activities to get your puppy motivated to play and train with you. It's suitable for puppies from 10 weeks up to around the age of 5 months. This class offers flexible bookings, allowing you to attend as many casual classes as you want, starting anytime! **Note there is NO Saturday morning class running on 9th March, 30th March/Easter Saturday. Play School Pups is designed to support puppy socialisation during their critical period, including interactions with people, animals, new environments, sounds, and novel experiences. An emphasis is placed on movement and play, as well as exposing the puppies to different sensory stimuli (think sounds, things that move, things that look funny, different people, smells and textures). In our group classes, we prioritise communication, relationship building, and practical life skills over traditional obedience. What to expect: 🐾 Engagement games for developing a connection with you. 🐾 Exercises that build your pup’s resilience. 🐾 Learn fun tricks like spin, middle, hand targets & paws up. 🐾 Handling exercises & body awareness activities. 🐾 Foundations of walking nicely on lead & coming when called. 🐾 Practical advice for navigating life with your puppy! Saturday mornings are held at The Canine Campus in Hume. Weeknight classes run at Narrabundah College. A reminder with location details will also be sent before class, and all locations are chosen to be suitable for puppies as long as they have had their first vaccination. PLEASE NOTE: Families are welcome but children under 10 years old MUST also be accompanied by an adult who is not handling the dog. Your teacher Kylie recently certified as a FDM - Family Dog Mediator, and has completed the Puppy Lab Certificate by the School Of Canine Science. She has proven experience in helping families raise confident, happy dogs from puppyhood and through the teenage years!
Modifications to bookings: There are no make-up sessions for missed classes. Please be sure you or a family member can attend each session. There is no refund for missed sessions. We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, may necessitate cancellations. In such cases, Kylie will make an effort to credit and reschedule your booking, pending the trainer's approval. Refunds will be considered on an individual basis or may be provided as an alternative to rescheduling if training is canceled due to weather conditions.
