GRC Social
Gameness. Relationship. Control. A monthly class for more experienced teams.
Service Description
Inspired by GRC Dogsports, this unique class is designed for people who love the training process! It is for teams who want a dog that can navigate the human world with calm confidence while still getting to let loose and express their natural drives. Drive: Learn to harness your dog’s natural motivation through purposeful play and games, teaching them how to switch their arousal on and off. Control: Proof critical social responsibility skills, such as leash communication, neutrality, and obedience, around real-world distractions. Is This Class Right for You? This class is open to dogs of all ages. However, because we train in public environments around real distractions, teams must have solid foundations in place to be successful. This means you should have clear markers and reasonable engagement. New students must contact Kylie before booking to ensure this class is the right learning environment for you and your dog. Minimum Requirements: Clear, established reward markers. Reliable engagement around distractions (your dog can focus, follow cues, and readily take rewards in public spaces).
