Primary Connections is now running as flexible outdoor sessions designed to build real-world focus, calm confidence, and a great relationship with your young dog. Rather than running traditional obedience drills, we focus on practical skills that make everyday life with your puppy easier and a lot more fun. Sessions can be booked casually, where you pay as you train each week instead of committing to a 4-week block. New students can start anytime, and you can attend as many or as few sessions as you like. There are no fixed term dates, choose any upcoming Sunday that suits you to begin. You’ll learn simple, clear ways to communicate so your puppy knows when they’ve done the right thing, alongside fun games to capture their attention around distractions. We also teach puppies an essential "off-switch" so they can settle quietly, stay calm and unfazed around other dogs and outdoor sights, and practice everyday habits like walking nicely on lead, coming when called, staying in place, and tucking safely between your legs (middle). Book single sessions week-by-week, or book multiple dates in advance to secure your spot (classes are strictly capped at 8 puppies). Where: Brindabella Business Park, Canberra Airport (Outdoors). Exact meeting spot and parking instructions will be sent in your booking confirmation email. Age: Puppies aged 16 weeks to 6 months (must have age-appropriate vaccinations). Strict no-on-leash greeting policy between dogs to ensure every puppy feels safe and handler-focused. What to Bring: -Standard flat lead (no extendable/flexi leads for this class) -Flat collar and/or harness -Plenty of high-value, bite-sized treats -A mat or towel to settle on -Your puppy’s favourite toy -Water and a bowl Rescheduling & Cancellations: You can cancel or reschedule your session online up to 24 hours before class start time. Due to limited spots, late cancellations or missed sessions cannot be refunded or credited. Weather Policy: As this is an outdoor class, sessions may be postponed or credited in the event of extreme heat, severe wind, or heavy rain. We will notify you via SMS/email at least 2 hours prior to the session if weather forces a cancellation.
