Service Description

The next block of Kindy K9s begins on January 5th, and runs for 4 consecutive weeks. Classes are held on Mondays at 6:15 PM at The Canine Campus, Hume. Please note that this course includes a session scheduled on Australia Day, Monday, January 26th. Each class runs for 45 minutes in a small group setting (maximum 6 puppies). What to expect: 🟡 Relationship building through structured play and engagement games 🟡 Confidence building and habituation exercises 🟡 Foundations for life skills, including recall, loose-lead walking, and teaching your puppy how to settle independently. 🟡 Functional tricks like "middle," "paws up," and "touch" 🟡 Easy sniffing games that meet your dogs mental needs, making them calmer and happier at home In addition to hands-on training, you'll receive handouts with practical strategies for managing common challenges, including: 🐾 Troubleshooting tips for crate and toilet training. 🐾 Effective management for nipping, biting, and mouthing. 🐾 Guidance on positive and appropriate socialisation. 🐾 Strategies for preventing separation distress and reducing jumping behaviour. All attending puppies must be up-to-date on their current vaccination schedule. (Full vaccination series completion is not required to begin). Dog-dog interactions are carefully supervised and managed for safety and positive experiences. Families are welcome! To keep everyone safe, children under 8 must be supervised by an additional adult who is not handling the dog. Please also ensure that children do not approach other dogs in the class. Important Note: Missed classes cannot be refunded or rescheduled. Meet Your Instructor Kylie is a teacher with two decades of education experience in teaching humans. She is a certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM) and has completed the Puppy Lab Certificate from the School of Canine Science.

Cancellation Policy

Modifications to bookings: There are no make-up sessions for missed classes. Please be sure you or a family member can attend each session. There is no refund for missed sessions. We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, may necessitate cancellations. In such cases, Kylie will make an effort to credit and reschedule your booking, pending the trainer's approval. Refunds will be considered on an individual basis or may be provided as an alternative to rescheduling if training is canceled due to weather conditions.
