Service Description

Play School Pups is an all-ages beginner-level class. It's ideally suited to adolescent pups between 5 and 12 months of age; or for older dogs who are still working on building foundations. This fun, casual class focuses on engagement, leash skills, and recalls in real-life settings. It offers a supportive environment where play and rewards keep your dog motivated and focused. Classes are held in public spaces to ensure your dog learns essential skills in everyday situations. New students who have not trained with Kylie before should reach out before booking to discuss suitability. Key focuses include: Play and engagement Loose-lead walking Reliable recalls Polite greetings Teaching positions like down, middle, and place Practicing "calm liberty" for relaxation without constant direction Redirecting attention from distractions, like birds, bikes, and other dogs! Class Details: Limited to just 4 dogs per class! On-leash greetings are avoided to build your dog's confidence in you as their handler Dogs need to be fully vaccinated. Important Notes: This class may not be suitable for dogs who are highly reactive on leash. If your dog is reactive or aggressive towards unfamiliar dogs or people, please contact Kylie to discuss alternative options.
